Mr. Frances "Frank" Glenn Jones, 76, died Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born July 2, 1934 in Stokes County to Wyatt Clifton and Hazel Wall Jones. He was a member of Forest Chapel United Methodist Church. Mr. Jones was also a member of the NC Basket Makers Association and the Winston-Salem Arcadia Basket Makers. He retired from AT&T in 1990 after 37 and ½ years of service and also worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a rural mail carrier, retiring in 2004. A 2 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Burroughs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Karen Branch and the Rev. Gary Elrod officiating. Burial will follow in the Palmyra United Methodist Church Cemetery. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister; Marie Collins and a brother; Billy Gray Jones. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Maxine Martin-Jones of the home; two sons, John Jones of Lawrenceville, GA and Jeff Jones and wife, Jennifer of Elon; two step-children, Kim Wood and husband, Randy of Walnut Cove and Patrick Martin of the home; six grandchildren: Zach, Cameron, Matt, Lauren, Libby and Wyatt Jones; step-grandchild: Josh Wood; three sisters, Jimmie Whitaker of Winston-Salem, Ernestine Boles and husband, Bobby and Hilda Carroll and husband, Leroy, both of Germanton; two brothers, Kemp Jones and wife, JoAnn of Walnut Cove and Larry Jones and wife, Treva of Germanton.
