Mrs. Vallie Moser Young, 85, Old Hwy. 52, Rural Hall, widow of Charlie B. Young, died Saturday morning at Forsyth Hospital. She was born August 17, 1900 in Stokes County to Jasper and Molly Allen Moser. She spent most of her life in the Stanleyville Community. She was a member of Palmyra United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Charlie Ray Young, 5552 Alma Dr. and Thomas (Jack) Young, 4160 Winterhue St.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and one brother, Roland W. Moser, High Point. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Vogler's Reynolda Road Chapel by the Rev. Oscar Hartman. Interment will follow in First Baptist Church of Stanleyville cemetery.
